About Postmarks

Ready to quote, paraphrase, or use as background.

One sentence

Postmarks is a cozy walking adventure that turns everyday steps into progress across real routes in Japan and East Asia, with cities to reach, stamps and souvenirs to collect, and a travel history that grows with every walk.

One paragraph

Postmarks turns everyday walking into a slow journey through real places. Steps from Apple HealthKit or Health Connect move the walker between cities across Japan and East Asia; each arrival unlocks a collectible destination stamp and local context, while Trail Finds fill a growing Backpack of souvenirs. Heart of Honshu is included free, with larger regional editions available as one-time purchases rather than subscriptions.

The full story

Most step trackers turn movement into a number and leave it there. Postmarks gives the same steps a destination: a city ahead, a route taking shape, and something meaningful to keep when the distance closes.

Walks in the real world move the traveler along routes based on real places. Arrivals earn illustrated stamps for a personal Passport, daily Trail Finds uncover souvenirs for the Backpack, and achievements mark milestones and unusual discoveries. City Guides add context to each stop, while Day and After Dark modes give familiar routes a second atmosphere without erasing progress.

The result is a calm record of consistency rather than a conventional fitness dashboard. Postmarks preserves the journey through its Passport, Journal, route history, stamps, souvenirs, and badges—turning ordinary movement into a travel story built one step at a time.
